Research Opportunities

Application Form (released April 23)

Introduction

This summer research fellowship is a virtual opportunity for current SRC groups to complete their research under the tutelage of experienced peers. Unlike last year, this program will solely be targeting groups with research in progress, rather than de novo. Depending on interest, each group will be assigned 1-2 mentors to join as authors and oversee their project. Mentors will meet with each group at least once per week to provide education for the next steps and provide detailed feedback on drafts, and ensure adherence to the timeline of the program (see "Schedule" below). The timeline will be shared with the M2 SRC co-leaders and Dr. Eldo Frezza, who will follow up with each mentor closely to ensure no complications are encountered. Upon completion of the fellowship, the first author (or a select group member) will deliver a 10-minute oral presentation on their project's findings to the rest of the group. In addition, the author will give an in-person presentation at the Research-in-Progress Series meetings in the fall of the upcoming school year.
