The MD program prepares individuals for the independent professional practice of medicine, involving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses, injuries, and other disorders of the human body. Includes instruction in the basic medical sciences, clinical medicine, examination and diagnosis, patient communications, medical ethics and law, professional standards, and rotations in specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, neurology, ophthalmology, radiology, clinical pathology, anesthesiology, family medicine, and psychiatry.

Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences to Doctorate of Medicine

Admission to the CNU College of Medicine is significantly increased through the MPS-to-MD Pathway. For five years in a row, over 98% of MPS graduates who achieved MCAT score of 508 and MPS GPA of 3.5 were ACCEPTED in CNUCOM.

PMPB applicants are highly recommended to have a 3.2 cumulative undergraduate GPA and 3.0 BCPM GPA. When you are accepted into the PMPB Pathways, our pre-health advisors will work with PMPB Pathway students to develop individualized curriculum plans to support successful applications to health professions colleges including our own CNU professional schools.
