About
Dr. Iqbal completed his undergraduate degree at UC Davis before going to Los Angeles to obtain his Medical Doctorate at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Iqbal obtained his post-doctoral training in Internal Medicine at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Dr. Iqbal is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to providing primary care services, he is passionate about medical education. He is the Internal Medicine Vice Chair and Clerkship Director at California Northstate University College of Medicine where he mentors and teaches medical students. He continues to serve the local community through volunteer work at Shifa Clinic and other non-profit organizations.
Research Interests
Dr. Iqbal is interested in clinical research. He has done research on drug-eluting stents in patients with diabetes and multi-vessel coronary artery disease.
