Associate Professor of Human Anatomy
Dr. Vanguri is a distinguished educator with over 13 years of experience teaching Gross Anatomy, Histology, Neuroanatomy, Embryology, and Radiological Anatomy. She is well known for her educational expertise and ability to simplify complex anatomical concepts, making them accessible and engaging for students.
She joins CNUCOM from UC Davis School of Medicine, where she was highly regarded for her contributions to medical education. Her background as a clinician in India further enriches her teaching, bringing a practical perspective to her approach. She excels in innovative educational strategies, from integrating technology and imaging to enhancing student engagement in both large and small group settings.
Dr. Vanguri worked extensively in anatomical variations and their clinical implications. She is skilled at cadaver dissection and takes time to create prosections for the students. She leads student groups with their dissection projects. She is also interested in teaching techniques and using imaging to teach Anatomy.
