About

After graduating as the valedictorian of his medical college batch, Dr. Golconda trained in Internal Medicine in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and in Nephrology in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. He has been in academic medical practice since completing his fellowship training. Prior to joining the faculty at CNU College of Medicine, he was a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UC Davis Medical Center.

As a proponent of clinical medicine learnt from eminent clinicians in three continents, he is actively involved in teaching bedside medicine, clinical reasoning, and communication skills to the first and second-year medical students. He is also the Co-director of the Renal (Urinary System) course.
