Dr. Charles M. Ware brings over two decades of experience in higher education, with expertise in academic administration, campus operations, accreditation and compliance, and the management of residential allied health programs and distance education divisions. His leadership encompasses strategic program development, student success initiatives, and educational innovation across diverse institutional settings. In his current role as Senior Director of Education at CNUCOM, Dr. Ware plays a key role in advancing the university’s mission to promote inclusivity, equity, and academic excellence. He leads the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of advisory and educational programs, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and accreditation standards. Dr. Ware has developed and implemented comprehensive strategies to enhance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) across the university, fostering a supportive environment for students, faculty, and staff. A prolific scholar, Dr. Ware has authored over fifteen abstracts and peer-reviewed publications, along with several industry-leading textbooks at the intersection of education, learning, and business. His research focuses on educative assessment, student-centered curriculum development, and the application of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to drive academic innovation. Dr. Ware is actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), American Sociological Association (ASA), Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE), American Association for Health Education (AAHE), and the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP). Beyond academia, Dr. Ware serves as a Trustee on the El Dorado County Board of Education, where he advocates for equitable educational policies and inclusive learning environments across K-12 schools in the region. His leadership in higher education and public service reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing educational equity and fostering opportunities for student success at all levels.
