About
Dr. Leisure did her undergraduate training at Stanford University, where she majored in Human Biology, with honors and distinction. She completed her medical school education at University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1987. Her residency training in Pediatrics, was at University of Virginia. She has been practicing pediatrics for 33 years, and has been a clinical pediatric preceptor, for medical students, NP and PA students, during most of her career. She has been practicing pediatrics at Thygeson Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine since November 2018, where she has been a preceptor for CNSU students. Her interests include breastfeeding medicine and general pediatrics.
