About

Dr. Wong received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from California Northstate University College of Pharmacy. After graduation, he completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY where his interest narrowed to cardiology and psychiatry. He also completed a teaching certificate program through Touro College of Pharmacy in Harlem, NY. After finishing his first-year residency, he narrowed his focus to psychiatry and completed a PGY-2 psychiatric pharmacy residency at Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital in New Haven, CT. During his time at Yale, his practice setting spanned from pediatric to geriatric psychiatry. Upon completion of his second-year residency, he accepted a position as a clinical psychiatric pharmacist for Behavioral Health Services, Department of Public Health in San Francisco, CA. There he provided clinical services to a monolingual Chinese population for three years before joining the faculty at California Northstate University as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology for the Colleges of Medicine. Dr. Wong also practices as a pharmacist at Sutter Center Psychiatry where he continues to work with patients with mental health disorders.
