About The Mentorship Subcommittee
The Mentorship Subcommittee leads mentorship programs for high school, community college, and undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine.
CNU College of Health and Sciences (CHS) Mentorship Subcommittee
The CNU College of Health and Sciences (CHS) Mentorship Subcommittee connects CNU medical students with the undergraduates. Volunteer medical student mentors will bridge any information gap for their mentees who are aiming for a path in the health field.
Community College Mentorship Subcommittee
The Community College Mentorship Subcommittee connects CNU medical students with local community college students. Volunteer medical student mentors will bridge any information gap for their mentees who are aiming for a path in the health field. It is our understanding that this population of students likely come from a diverse socioeconomic background, so it is our imperative to provide the utmost guidance to everyone, no matter where they started from. Our hope is to include students from local community colleges such as Cosumnes River College.
High School Mentorship Subcommittee
The High School Mentorship Subcommittee connects CNU medical students with local High School students. Volunteer medical student mentors will bridge any information gap for their mentees who are aiming for a path in the health field. We are currently affiliated with Cosumnes Oaks High School, but we hope to continuously expand our relations and reach out to more local high schools in the near future.
