Timely Care is a mental health and wellness telehealth system of care offered to CNUCOM students free
of charge. Logging in with your .cnsu email gives you access to:
- Self-care resources
- Community support
- Access to a 24/7 chat line
- Access to up to 12 sessions per year with a health coach or licensed counselor (PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, etc.). After 12 sessions are complete within a year, TimelyCare will charge $80 per session.
*NOTE: IF YOU NO-SHOW A SCHEDULED SESSION YOU WILL LOSE ACCESS TO ALL 12 SESSIONS THAT YEAR. IF YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE A SESSION, CANCEL ON TIMELY CARE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Timely’s care network is comprised of a diverse group of professionals trained to be culturally competent and sensitive to race, socioeconomic status, LGBTQIA+ identity, gender, sexual orientation, and the impacts of inequality on healthcare.

SSVMS Joy of Medicine
Up to 6 FREE virtual sessions per year with a vetted psychologist and/or life coach.

SSVMS sponsors six sessions for healthcare providers (physicians, residents, and medical students) in the Sacramento area.
To schedule an appointment, email or call a provider directly, and let them know that you are accessing the SSVMS Joy of Medicine Program.

CCAPS Counseling and Psychology
UNLIMITED FREE virtual/in-person sessions with psychology students supervised by licensed psychologists.

MedTal - Support Group for Medical Students

Medtal Health is a free, anonymous support program that meets once a week on Zoom. Each session is one hour with an open Zoom link for any medical student to call in to look for support. All cameras and mics are off; everyone who would like to join the call will use an anonymous username when they log in, including the student volunteers, and all students who join the Zoom call looking for support are placed into a breakout room with a student volunteer who has experience in either the field of mental health or in support groups.
