CNUCOM Office of Research’s mission is to cultivate a thriving academic environment that is collaborative, intuitive and creative.
We are determined to enhance the research experience for our medical students through various endeavors including those listed below:
The Office of Research supports fully equipped basic sciences research laboratories and nurture collaborations between basic science faculty and our clinical faculties.
We foster innovative, cutting edge research ideas essential for groundbreaking discoveries in medicine. Our office is instrumental in supporting successful growth of research endeavors by our faculty locally. The COM Office of Research promotes multidisciplinary collaboration across the university colleges and with academic and clinical institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and business/industry entities around the world.
Our federally and industry sponsored researchers have extensive research portfolios in basic science, translational and clinical research.

We are continuing to build on the extensive research infrastructure by sponsoring intramural seed grants for faculty-initiated research.
