Office of Medical Education


The most important mission of the COM Office of Research is to enhance the College’s goals by developing research programs to support the scholarly activities of COM faculty and students. In this regard, the COM Office of Research is involved in research related activities at the COM, including but not limited to:

Planning and implementation of the Research laboratory at the COM (~2,000 sqf), including equipment and consumables for faculty and student activities

Support for the Self-Directed Student Scholarly Project

Oversight the Mini-Grant Program

Support for the Research Centers at the COM

The Research Centers are part of the College of Medicine, located at the Elk Grove campus, CA. The Centers are supported by the Dean’s Office and the COM Office of Research, and include:
