Research Interest
I am interested in noninvasive, bioimaging-based approaches to pharmacokinetic analyses and mechanism; structure-based functional studies of drug transport mechanisms and Transport Phenomena in biological systems as relate to normal & disease processes. The title of my PhD dissertation is: "Mathematical and Pharmacokinetics Modeling of MRI Contrast Agents' Transport into the Intervertebral Discs". The research investigated the application of mathematical and  pharmacokinetics modeling in conjunction with Magnetic Resonance Imaging to the study of  transport of contrast agents into the intervertebral discs of NZW rabbits. The methodology employed in the above research could be translated for PET, SPECT, MicroPET, Molecular Imaging of cancer and other diseases.
